On April 5, 2012, RIA hosted five Russian medical professionals visiting Buffalo as part of the Open World Leadership Center exchange program, coordinated through the International Institute of Buffalo. The medical professionals met with RIA & UB representatives to discuss substance use and the role of medical research and to tour RIA facilities. RIA was one of many stops for the Russian professionals on their visit to Western New York.
