RIA historically acquires a mix of support from New York State, federal, foundation, and corporation sources for conducting research. Most recently, the Institute received support from the following sources:

New York State, through the State University of New York: These funds supported scientific and support staff and service costs to operate the RIA facility, including the library and the Clinical Research Center (CRC).
